Parrot on a PorchA Journey Toward the Little Mansion Dream

We consider ourselves lucky. Since hubby and I got married, our parents were more than considerate and supportive to allow us dwell on their abodes while we save up for our dream house. We can actually move out anytime and be on our own but the husband insists that if ever, we do, it is because we’re transferring to a house that we can call our own..meaning, it’s not rented. Or if it is, it should be under a “rent to own” mode or setup so it will eventually be ours still. And so with such, we’re still saving up for that big project which hopefully will materialize soon. Anyway, our folks (yes both sets, his and mine) do not have a problem with us being transients throughout the week especially that my little one is so endeared to them. Condominiums are vastly sprawling everywhere especially here in the Makati. While we are capable of owning one and may be one of the easiest properties to acquire, it is out of our options. We prefer for a single detached unit where we can have an easy access to the road, an attached carport and a little garden perhaps where Asher can run and play. We’ll have that someday but for the mean time, we’ll enjoy our transient lives.
