I don’t know if I’m the only one among my Facebook friends who isn’t into, or more so, doesn’t know how to play the Texas Hold Em Poker game application. Before I filtered my feeds on my Facebook wall, it seems everyone’s so hooked that the notifications I get most of the time are from this game application (aside from Mafia Wars and Farmville). So since, I know nothing and do not have plans of playing it then, I filtered my feeds list and hid all those notifications related to this game. However, I’ve been hearing my online friends talk about this game recently and as my brother, who’s a one big poker fan, walked me through the basics and its concept, I suddenly found it interesting. He said that I should just read and research on the web for strategies and tricks that will help me learn more about this game. The Caesars online site is a good reference, he said. I can find tips, tricks, strategies, events, tutorials and everything poker related in that site. Once in a while, it’s just also right to have some other things to entertain ourselves with. Especially for a busy work at home mom like me who rarely finds some leisure time for myself, idling one’s mind and playing such is a great stress reliever. As they say, “all work, no play makes a dull boy”. So we do really need a breather from time to time..an avenue to relax from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.
