Parrot on a PorchA Journey Toward the Little Mansion Dream

One month later after the big move to our new home, we’re still busy fixing and sprucing up our little abode. As a friend says, beautifying one’s own home is a never-ending process from the moment of moving in until over time. But of course, it’s more evident during the period of settling in. As we still have most of our walls empty and unadorned still, the husband and I are still continuously “debating” how and what to put up on them. Except for the wall in the dining area which we both concurred to have a framed picture of the Last Supper, we have not come into an agreement yet regarding the walls along the hallway. I want to make a gallery of my son or of that sort like fill it up, the whole of it, with his pictures. On the other hand, the husband wants to claim a portion of it and seemingly convert it to a sort of little sports gallery like fill it up with autographed sports memorabilia since he’s into sports particularly basketball and a bit of baseball. However, he doesn’t have autographed baseballs yet so he’s currently looking right now for a store where he could buy autographed photos of his sports team idols. I do not have qualms actually of him putting up a little sports gallery. I just hope that he observes the limit and majority of the space will be allocated for our son’s pictures.
