The Cleaning Power of Baking Soda

image Baking soda (a.k.a. sodium bicarbonate) is a staple in every cook’s cupboard.  But do you know that baking soda can be used for more than just making homemade cookies, cakes and meals?

Baking soda is among the numerous multi-tasking kitchen products that we have at home as it can used to clean and disinfect many household items.  Not only it’s a cheap alternative but it’s great for the environment, too!

1.) Neutralize weird food smells in the fridge by leaving an open box of baking soda inside.

2.) To clean out the pipelines, flush a cup of baking soda once a month down the toilet bowl.

3.) Dissolve baking soda in water and leave it in a coffeepot overnight to removing ring stains.

4.) Clean oral stuff like mouthpieces, dentures and retainers by soaking them in a solution of 2 teaspoons baking soda dissolved in a small amount of warm water.  The solution will loosen food particles and neutralizes bad odor as well.

5.) Clean the microwave with a clean damp sponge sprinkled with baking soda

Now this is a magic formula that will save your from strenuous and exhausting cleaning. Forget the muscle and abs you wish to get from cleaning..there’s the best creatine supplement anyway to serve that purpose.
