Vegetable Garden

Our household help told me earlier that the tomato seedling she planted a few days ago have now sprouted.  We don’t have a garden but we have potted plants to adorn the exterior of our tiny house.  She planted it in the spare pot and now the budding plant excites her that she wants to look for more containers that she can vegetate on and for a tumbling composter (to have an organic fertilizer).  She said if she grows enough vegetable produce like tomatoes, okra, eggplant, etc., there’s no need for us to allot a budget for vegetables in our weekly grocery.  Looks like we might grow a vegetable garden soon.

I’m not into make up or know less about cosmetics.  Yes, I do put on some blush on, eye shadow and lipstick whenever I go out but I lack a lot of knowledge on this and I don’t have the skill.  But nevertheless, I’ve been wishing to have my vanity mirror set.  Nothing fancy nor luxurious, just a simple one where I can keep my limited makeup supply and a place where I can see myself on the mirror while applying these stuff.  This is exactly what I have in mind.  Perhaps, if I get to have this, I’d be more keen about makeups and who knows I might even enroll myself in a Cosmetology school.

Closet Rooms and Closet Organizers

I have always wanted to have a neat and very organized closet room such as this.  It has a lot of storage spaces and the cabinets and drawers make it easy to organize clothes and other stuff.  However, we don’t have that much space in the house to allot a walk-in closet as huge as this. But as Closet Factory puts it, even small homes can keep a neat storage system by maximizing the space of the home as best as possible.  From floor to the ceiling, there can be a great potential storage space by having the right built-in or customized cabinetry with compartments or smaller sub-cabinets for smaller things.

As for my kids’ stuff, I’d love to have their closet to be this organized.  The pink and blue colors are perfect as well as the partitions made.  If I am to adapt this design, I would just probably additional or wider space for the clothes in hangers.  What’s nice about this closet organizer is that the features can actually be altered like allot more space for either the folded or hanged clothes as the kids grow.  Until then the kid colors of pink and blue shall be replaced with adult colors to complement with the adult clothes like medical uniform, gowns, coats, etc.

Medicine Cabinets for the Home

A first aid or medicine cabinet is essential in every home.  We never know when an emergency strikes so it’s important that we have handy first aid tools and medicines that we can use any time.  In some homes, they can go simple by storing them in a small handy bag while some incorporate a wall cabinet in their interior and serves as a medicine container.  Usually it’s installed in the bathroom but it’s advisable to put it in a common area that’s easily accessible at any given time.

Having a medicine cabinet calls for responsible maintenance.  The stock of medicine must be regularly checked especially the expiration dates of each medicine.  Also, research about each medicine that you will be stocking.  Remember that some prescription medicines have unfavorable side effects like in the case of Actos and Topamax.  While it’s easy to call and meet with actos attorneys, suffering and undergoing through the bad side effects is absolutely tormenting.

Phone Systems

I’ve recently published a blog post about business phone systems recently.  This lured me to look for a new good phone system or a unit for our home.  What we are using now is the original unit that our telephone service provider initially issued to us when this was installed.  It’s a basic unit that has very limited features that’s why I’m prompted to search for a replacement.  Perhaps a cordless one will suit our needs.  We need one that can be transferred or use in whatever part of the house.  Cordless phones are quite more costly compared to regular units but this saves us from spending for another unit since we can place it anywhere in the house as long as it is fully charged.  We just have to make sure that quality telephone batteries for long-lasting usage.
