I don’t know about you but my childhood Christmas years consistently consist of eager anticipation for Santa on the Christmas eve. Yes, we grew up believing in him…a tradition that I’d also like to pass on to my son. And as an eager beaver parent that I am, I’ve got his stocking ready by now. It’s the same Christmas stocking that he used last year. I would like to have it personalized but I think I don’t have enough time to do that now especially that our daily schedule before Christmas is so busy. Aside from the Christmas tree, the wreath is also a favorite Christmas decoration of many. Perhaps it has got to do with the vibrant colors, the elements and its symbolism: Jesus’ birth and God’s grace and immortality. It is usually hung on the front door, the very first thing that greet and welcome any guest coming into the house.

Next year, when we celebrate our first Christmas in our new home, I’d definitely hang one..perhaps, I can work around with my very own artistic thinking caps and hands to make a Do-It-Yourself one.
