I don’t know about you but my childhood Christmas years consistently consist of eager anticipation for Santa on the Christmas eve. Yes, we grew up believing in him…a tradition that I’d also like to pass on to my son. And as an eager beaver parent that I am, I’ve got his stocking ready by now. It’s the same Christmas stocking that he used last year. I would like to have it personalized but I think I don’t have enough time to do that now especially that our daily schedule before Christmas is so busy. Perhaps, next year, that’s the number one task on my Christmas to-do’s. Meanwhile, here are a few personalized Christmas stockings that are simply eye candies.

Personalized Rudolph Character Stocking from Walmart - $19.90

Personalized Stocking with Reindeer Fabric from Etsy - $22.50

Funky Fleece Christmas Stockings from Etsy - $10.00

Velvet Monogrammed Red Stocking from Target - $9.08

Velvet Olive Cuff Personalized Stockings from Stocking Factory - $20.94

Aside from the Christmas tree, the wreath is also a favorite Christmas decoration of many. Perhaps it has got to do with the vibrant colors, the elements and its symbolism: Jesus’ birth and God’s grace and immortality. It is usually hung on the front door, the very first thing that greet and welcome any guest coming into the house.
Next year, when we celebrate our first Christmas in our new home, I’d definitely hang one..perhaps, I can work around with my very own artistic thinking caps and hands to make a Do-It-Yourself one.
Just a few of my would-be inspirations:

I find the last one most appealing. It is a Martha Stewart style, thus, the genuine and one of a kind beauty and elegance.

After a few weekends of malling, one bazaar visit, and tons of online shops that I browsed, we still don’t have a Christmas gift for my little tot. Arrgh! There surely is a lot of easy options like toys and clothes but I’m veering away from giving him toys because he has tons of them already and we barely don’t have space anymore in our room to stock or store them. Clothes, well, I’ve been showering him going out clothes and sleepwears every time there is an online sale at Old Navy and I have enough for this year. So I’m thinking whether to give him a nice pair of Florsheim shoes or probably this NFL Youth Uniform set I saw at kidsportsinc.com. Or perhaps those Sports Starter Baseball Equipment Set from the same online store since he’s into playing ball..hitting and catching the ball, actually. They’re not exactly toys as they are training equipment so it’s exempted to the guidelines I’ve set. Besides, it’s never too early to get them be involved in sports, right? Take a look at this site should you also be in the lookout for possible Christmas gifts for your kids.
Kidsportsinc.com is a one-stop-shop for the best sports training gear for the youth. Whether it be baseball, soccer, golf, basketball, street hockey..this site provides the best options in helping you develop and mold your little sportsman.
So now, what I need to do is discuss with the husband and come up with the “perfect” choice. The good thing though about this is that, we still have a couple of weeks before the Christmas deadline.

Christmas may still be more than a month away but here in our home, we can already feel the Holiday festive mood. My mother-in-law has taken out the Christmas trees and the other ornaments from the stock room after the Halloween so they’ve been up and giving our home a Christmas feel for more than a week already. However, I think the Christmas tree still lack ornaments to make it a really glowing and lively tree. My MIL approved my idea when I suggested why not we use affordable and unique collectible Swarovski crystal figurines this year to adorn the tree. I found several collections in the Christmas & Ornaments section at QualityOverstock.com and truly they are eye candies.

Quality Overstock is a fine retailer of designer and collectible figurines with crystal product lines such as Swarovski, Lladro, Lalique, Daum, Baccarat and Armani. They also have designer watches such as Baume & Mercier, Ebel, Cartier, Gucci, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Longines.
